Halloween and Pumpkin Carving!!
I know I am posting these pictures a little late---but better late than never, right???
The kids had a great time at "Trunk or Treat" at church. They loved their costumes, had dinner and played with their friends, and got a TON of candy...which will now sit on top of fridge and go bad. Just like last year!

Here are the kids together before we left for Trunk-or-Treat.
Owen wants to be a K-9 police officer when he grows up (at least for now he does. He has also wanted to be a firefighter and a basketball player...) so he LOVES his costume. He has been wearing at least once a week since we bought it!
Emme made an adorable butterfly. She loved her costume and kept everything on! She didn't try to pull off the tutu or the antennae or anything! She just smiled all night and played with the ribbons in her tutu...silly girl!
I love these kids!!
** PUMPKINS **
Owen and I also carved pumpkins on Halloween...here he is with our works of art! (Owen's is the 3 eyed alien, as he called it.)

Getting Crafty
Here are two of the projects I have done lately. I thought they turned out so cute, I wanted to post them on here so my mom could see---aren't you proud, mom?!?!?
"Emme" letters for her wall (to match the "Owen" letters)
Bracelets for me and Emme!
Happy Birthday Scott!
Scott had his 31st birthday on the 11th--we had the family and some friends over for dinner and opened presents. Scott asked for chocolate souffle for birthday dessert, so souffle we had! It was kind of impossible to get a candle to stay in the souffle, so he held a tea light and blew that out while we sang!
The week before, on the 4th, he opened his presents from Owen, Emme and myself. (Owen was so excited to give him his presents and just could not wait any longer!) We gave him a Best Buy gift card, which he used to buy a PS3, a new game for the PS3 and the Wii, and Owen gave him a Nerf gun---the boys love to shoot eachother while running through the house! Happy Birthday!
J-E-L-L-O
Emme had her first taste of Jell-O...now, this is not something I would normally document or take note of, but she loved it sooooo much!!
Frozen Fury - Las Vegas
Well...it has obviously been a while since I have posted! We have been busy-I will try and get all caught up within the next couple of days!
Back in September, Scott and I went to Las Vegas for the Kings game at MGM Grand. They play a game there every year, called Frozen Fury, and this year we actually stayed at the MGM! What a beautiful hotel! The game was great, the people we went with were so much fun and we went without the kiddos...do I need to say more?!?!? Love them, but sometimes you just need to be an adult. You know-eat at nice restaurants, stay up late, sleep in the next morning without waking to a kid in your bed, gamble your life savings away-just kidding!

Meagan's Visit - Part IV
Friday night we went to 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. We walked through the shops, watched the street performers and had frozen yogurt. So much fun!
Saturday morning we went to the Farmer's Market and sampled all the fruits and veggies then had lunch in the shade. Owen was so sad that Meagan is going home today!
Tasty cantaloupe!!
Meagan's Visit - Part III
Meagan's Visit - Part II
Well, Meagan will probably be home by the time you look at this, Mom, but here is part two!! On Wednesday we spent the day at Disneyland! We rode so many rides (and we DIDN'T ride some rides...ask Meagan about that one) and had a great day.
(From top): Toy Story, Bug's Life land, Teacups, Haunted Mansion.
On Thursday, we drove up to Hollywood for the afternoon; bunch of crazies up there!
In front of the Chinese Theater.
At Hollywood and Highland.
