Scott's Graduation & San Francisco

Golden Gate Bridge

Scott graduated with his Master's degree at University of San Francisco-which happens to be a private Jesuit university. So, instead of graduating in a stadium or on the quad (like at CSULB) he got to graduate in this beautiful cathedral that was on campus.

With friends at the reception before graduation.

Owen and Emme are so proud of daddy!!

These houses are called "The Painted Ladies"--very famous SF landmark and right by USF!

Lombard Street (the crooked-est street in the world. Believe me, it is!) Coit Tower and the Bay Bridge are in the background.

Cool building--I took this while stopped at a light.

At the Golden Gate Bridge--it was freezing!!!

Owen checking out the famous sea lions at Fisherman's Wharf-Pier 39

Ghiradelli Square (if you look closely, you can see Owen's blonde head by the white car)

Have you ever seen a kid enjoy an ice cream cone more??

Emme learned how to stick out her tongue---most pictures nowadays feature her tongue!

We drove over to Sacramento to visit friends and family---

Yes, we went to the Jelly Belly Factory, again.

Todd knows I want a Topsy-Turvy and he felt the need to rub it in that he owns one!

Suzie and Owen just hanging out!

Why do people always make funny faces at babies?!??!

At the conclusion of this trip, Emme has decided she no longer likes carseats!

Oregon Photos

Picnic in the park

"More bars in more places" (that's what I think of when I see this)

Owen got help Grandma drive the riding lawnmower-almost as fun as Autotopia at Disneyland!

Parker and babies...like mixing oil and water.

Owen being silly while learning to play croquet.

Meagan, Emme and Kylee: what pretty girls!!

AT THE COAST
Meagan and Emme-with that amount of clothing on you would never know it was June!

Owen was soooo proud of his crab shells.

The siblings: Nephi, Brittany, Kylee, Meagan, Parker.

Parker's Graduation

Owen, Emme and I went to Oregon to see Parker graduate from Dallas High School. Here are some pictures from graduation:
Doesn't it look like Parker is giving me the stink eye??? Really though, we are too far away and he can't even see us!
Giving a speech.

Parker with his niece and nephew.

Parker and Nephi. (No one knows why it is impossible for Parker to just smile in a picture-he is always making some kind of face)

The whole gang walking to the cars before we roasted in the ridiculous heat.

Sitting Up

Emme can sit up all on her own now! She has been doing this for about a week now--and she does NOT want to lie down any longer...
She also loves frozen bananas. I break them in half and stick a popsicle stick in them before I freeze them. Owen and Emme eat them up!

We are finally all home!!

The last couple of weeks have been very eventful-- Scott graduated with his Master's degree in Sport Management from Univ. of San Francisco on May 23 (YEAH!!)  so we went up to San Fran and Sacramento) from the 22nd to the 26th. We drove home on the 26th, unpacked our bags and then Owen, Emme and Brittany flew to Oregon on the 27th until June 2nd. Parker graduated from high school and we wanted to see the family- as well as let Nephi meet Emme for the first time, since he was unable to come down for the blessing. We have some great pictures, but my computer is being funny and won't let me post them right now. I will get some pics on soon!

How nice to be home and normal again!

Emme's Favorite Things

Emme is discovering the world around her more and more everyday! She has a few things she really enjoys--
She found her toes and she loves them!!

She likes when Owen plays with her and gives her kisses.

She likes to be on her tummy and chew on her toys (well, she likes it for a little while-then she gets frustrated when she can't figure out how to get back over!)

Owen's Field Trip

Owen's preschool class had a field trip to the Cabrillo Museum. Families were invited to come and Scott happened to have that day off from work so...we all went!! We saw all the exhibits, bought some cute little things from the gift shop, had lunch with his class and walked down to the tide pools-Owen had a great time!

Owen and one of his best buddies, Jesse.

Checking out the sharks!!

AHHHH!!!!

Old Town Sacramento and the Jelly Belly Factory

We spent one morning walking around Old Town Sacramento looking in all the fun shops! This is a place we are going to have to explore more when we are back in a few weeks.

Emme loves to give kisses and decided to give one to Grandma!!

Owen checking out the paddle boats on the river!

Jelly Belly Factory!!!

Emme was so tired by the time we made it to the Jelly Belly Factory...

...but Owen made sure she was awake for the tour! (You aren't allowed to take pictures on the tour, or we would have some to show you how excited Owen was-it was adorable)

Owen had a great time on this trip, but one of his favorite parts was when we would pull the car over to let him stretch his legs and he and Daddy would throw rocks into the fields--silly boys!
